Soaked Automotive Detailing Limited – Mobile Car Valeting & Detailing

1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern all services provided by Soaked Automotive Detailing Limited ("we", "us", "our"). By booking or using our services, you ("the customer") agree to these Terms.
2. Services
We provide professional valeting and detailing services at:

Our unit: Unit 3, 10 Acres, Fisher Lane, Chichester, PO20 1YU

Customer-specified locations (mobile services)
All services are subject to vehicle condition and may be adjusted upon inspection.
3. Bookings & Appointments

Bookings must be made in advance.

Appointment times are estimates only. Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or prior jobs.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings at our discretion.
4. Pricing & Payment

Prices are based on vehicle size, condition, and service selected.

Final pricing may be adjusted if the vehicle condition differs from what was described.

Payment is due immediately upon completion unless agreed otherwise.

Accepted payment methods: cash, card, bank transfer.
5. Deposits, Cancellations & Rescheduling

A 20% booking fee is required to secure appointments. This is deducted from the final balance.

The booking fee represents time reserved and administrative costs and may be retained where cancellation results in loss of business.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
-
Late cancellations or same-day cancellations may be charged up to 50–100% of the service value, depending on lost time and inability to rebook the slot.

No-shows may be charged the full service amount.

Rescheduling is subject to availability.

We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather or operational issues.
6. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:

Provide accurate information regarding vehicle condition.

Ensure safe, legal, and adequate access to the vehicle.

Provide access to water and electricity if required (unless otherwise agreed).
-
Remove all personal belongings prior to service.
Failure to comply may result in cancellation or additional charges.
7. Vehicle Condition & Risk Acknowledgement

You must disclose any known defects, damage, or prior repairs before service.

We are not responsible for:

Pre-existing damage or defects

Poorly resprayed or repaired panels

Weak, failing, or compromised paintwork or trims

Mechanical or electrical faults

Detailing Risk Clause:
Machine polishing, chemical cleaning, and other detailing processes involve inherent risk. By agreeing to our services, you acknowledge that:

Some defects (e.g. deep scratches, etching, oxidation) may not be fully removable

Fragile or degraded materials may worsen during treatment
-
Previously repaired or repainted areas may behave unpredictably
8. Results Disclaimer

We aim to significantly improve vehicle condition but do not guarantee perfection or complete defect removal.

Results vary depending on age, condition, and prior treatment of the vehicle.
9. Ceramic Coatings & Protection Services

Any durability claims are estimates, not guarantees.
-
Proper aftercare is required to maintain performance.
-
We are not responsible for reduced performance due to misuse, poor maintenance, or environmental exposure.
10. Valuables & Personal Items

All personal items must be removed before service.

We accept no liability for loss or damage to items left in the vehicle.
11. Mobile Service Conditions

Services may be delayed or rescheduled due to adverse weather or unsuitable working conditions.

Customers must ensure a safe working environment.

We reserve the right to refuse service where conditions are unsafe or impractical.
12. Satisfaction & Complaints

Any concerns must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.

We will assess and, where appropriate, offer a remedy such as a re-service.

Refunds are issued at our discretion.
13. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
14. Data Protection

We collect and store customer data solely for booking and operational purposes.

Data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Customers may request access to or deletion of their data at any time.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The latest version will be made available upon request or via our website.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
